The other day we left the city to venture out into nature, more specifically: Comporta, south of Lisbon. It’s been a place that I’ve saved screenshots of for a while now and noted down every time I’ve seen someone visiting. Finally I got to see it on my own.

A 1h and 30min car-ride south of Lisbon, you’ll find this long beach with turquoise water, huge waves and beautiful sand beaches. Another reason to love Lisbon… The fact that you can find these beautiful places so close to the city centre. We had lunch at Quinta da Comporta and spent hours with our feet in the sand, looking out over this beautiful horizon and breathing in fresh ocean air. One of my favourite days.
