Venice Film Festival

I feel like even though I came back from Venice a couple of days ago now, I haven’t been able to let go of this wonderful experience and settle back into everyday life just yet… Maybe because this experience was something so incredibly special. To be honest, it’s always one of my favourite events during the year – not only because it means spending a couple of days in Italy – but also because it’s together with some of my favourite people as well as the most wonderful Jaeger-LeCoultre team. And I really, really mean that. I guess you get it as you can see that I keep coming back for this event over and over again.

This year the movie we saw was “The Laundromat”, starring Meryl Streep, Gary Oldman and Antonio Banderas among others. I mean, first of all: the fact that I got to see Meryl Streep in real life was just absolutely amazing and I would have been happy if it just stopped right there. My gosh this woman is beautiful and talented. …And if I thought she was talented before, this movie definitely confirmed that. Secondly, this movie was something like a documentary/drama-comedy (obviously not a documentary but that’s the best word I can come up with right now) that took quite a strong stand, which I thought was both impressive and necessary.

I wish I could show you every single second of an experience like this (thank god for Instagram Stories) but I hope you get the picture through these images and words. Also, side-note: I’m falling in love with Venice more and more for every time I visit.
